Major Recruitment are currently seeking a trainee CNC operator yo join our clients well established and growing manufacturing facility based in Normanton, West Yorkshire

Whilst this is a trainee role, ideally you will have some experience woking within a busy manufacturing or engineering factory and will have some eprience in operating machinary

As part of our CNC Department, you’ll learn from experienced operators, develop specialist machining skills, and contribute to projects you’ll see out in the real world every day. Now, we’re searching for the next generation of signmakers to join our team and help us carry that tradition forward.

What you’ll learn:
• How to safely operate CNC machines used in signmaking.
• Machine setup, tooling, and material handling.
• Precision cutting and shaping of aluminium and other sign materials.
• How to read job sheets, technical drawings, and digital production files.
• Machine care, maintenance basics, and professional workshop practices.
• Work towards a nationally recognised NVQ in Signmaking alongside your training.
• The importance of health, safety, and compliance in everything you do.

Working rotating shifts

Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm

Monday to Thursday 9am to 6.30pm

Fridays 7am to 3.30pm
